서울 평창동의 완만한 언덕 위, 옛 가정집을 개조해 2003년 문을 연 KiMi(키미)는 예술과 일상의 경계를 부드럽게 허무는 공간입니다. 1층에는 세 개의 전시실이, 2층에는 자연 채광이 드는 카페갤러리와 테라스가 마련되어 있으며, 소나무가 우거진 안뜰이 방문객을 맞이합니다. 이곳은 작품이 숨 쉬고 사람들이 머무는 따뜻한 장소입니다.올해로 23주년을 맞은 KiMi는 국내외에서 활동하는 작가들의 전시와 다양한 프로그램을 선보여온 복합 문화공간으로, 연례 작가 공모 프로젝트 ‘KiMi For You’를 통해 매년 새로운 시각을 지닌 작가들을 발굴하고 개인전과 그룹전을 이어왔습니다. 이러한 기획을 바탕으로 신진 작가의 가능성을 조명하고 국내외 네트워크 확장을 도모하며, 예술 생태계의 저변을 넓히고자 합니다. 관람객에게는 일상 속 예술을 경험할 기회를, 작가에게는 창작의 무대를 확장하는 플랫폼이 되는 것—이것이 KiMi가 지향하는 방향입니다.

Located on a gentle hill in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, KiMi opened in 2003 in a renovated old house, creating a space that gently blurs the boundaries between art and everyday life. The first floor houses three exhibition rooms, while the second floor features a naturally lit café gallery and terrace, complemented by a pine-filled courtyard welcoming visitors. It is a warm place where artworks breathe and people linger.

Now celebrating its 23rd anniversary, KiMi is a multidisciplinary cultural space presenting exhibitions and programs by artists active both in Korea and abroad. Through its annual artist open call project, KiMi For You, the gallery discovers new artists each year and organizes their solo and group exhibitions. By highlighting emerging talent and supporting the expansion of their domestic and international networks, KiMi contributes to broadening the art ecosystem. Its goal is to offer visitors opportunities to experience art in everyday life while providing artists with a platform to expand their creative practice.
